Nonreciprocal filtering power dividers

We propose the concept of nonreciprocal filtering power dividers, which are compact devices able to merge functionalities dividers and combiners, selectivity bandpass filters, magnetless nonreciprocity from time-modulation. A prototype this type operating at microwaves has been implemented in microstrip technology. The device is composed a Wilkinson divider integrated with two identical filters based on quarter-wavelength coupled lines. resonators terminated varactors that time-modulated using low-frequency harmonic signals Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) feeding network printed ground plane structure. resulting behaves as divider, combiner, or common depending modulation parameters. In addition, it exhibits electrical frequency reconfigurability (over 15%), high rejection out passband, enhanced isolation among ports. manufactured shows relative fractional bandwidth 3.1% measured return loss level 11 dB, insertion losses 5.9 together response over 21 dB directivity center frequency.
